Service Description
We join various pieces of wood without using glue or screws. This method is inspired by centuries-old Japanese and European wood joining techniques. We use the book *The Art of Japanese Joinery* as inspiration, and we will create various joints over 3 days. We start with the basics of woodworking: observing closely, learning to work step-by-step, and marking out neatly. After one or two evenings of lessons, you will have enough know-how to make joints independently using the Japanese saw and chisel. I will teach you tips and tricks for working straight and cleanly, and I aim to do this in an informal and personal setting. The workshop includes materials and the use of tools – should you wish to purchase quality tools yourself, you can do so on-site in the workshop shop or in the webshop. Cancellation Policy
PLEASE NOTE THE FINE PRINT: if you cancel more than 14 days before the start of the course, half of the paid course fee will be refunded. Unfortunately, if you cancel within 14 days before the start, the course fee cannot be refunded. This is because a spot is reserved for you that cannot be filled by someone else in the event of cancellation. In the event of force majeure, I will of course always look into whether we can reach a suitable solution together. By paying the invoice, you declare yourself agree to these terms and conditions.
